Functional Capacity Evaluations
Based on client need, half-day to five-day evaluations are performed to give objective measures of short, medium or long term functional levels. This information can assist physicians or employers to determine the client's ability to return to work or a normal active life style.

Evaluations may include
  • Musculoskeletal evaluation
  • Functional assessment
  • Objective consistency of effort and symptom magnification testing
  • Job site assessment

Work Hardening/Conditioning
Work Hardening/Conditioning replaces sedentary recuperation with a routine designed to simulate actual work demands. Individuals undergo a comprehensive Functional Abilities or Work Hardening Assessment to ensure ability to participate in the program. Timely and safe return to work is facilitated by structured attendance and progression of individualized job simulation and conditioning, often in conjunction with the employee's return to limited duty. RTW's therapists will work closely with physicians, case managers and employers to ensure a safe and timely return to work.
